Job Description

WE'RE LOOKING FOR A GOOD CREWMAN.
Pinnacle Development & Renovations is looking for a hands-on General Carpenter / Tradesman to join our crew. We're not looking for a Foreman. We're not looking for a Project Manager. We're not looking for someone who wants to stand around telling everyone else what to do. We're looking for individuals who want to work. Who shows up on time, brings their tools, listens, learns, works hard, and takes pride in doing the job right. Someone who can pick up a saw, swing a hammer, tear something apart, put it back together, and jump in wherever the crew needs help. Our work includes residential and multi-unit remodeling, renovations, repairs, and general construction throughout North San Diego County and Orange County . Every day and every job is a little different, so you need to be comfortable getting your hands dirty and figuring things out in the field.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
General carpentry and remodeling Framing, drywall, doors, trim, cabinets, flooring, and finish work Demolition and tear-out Moving and handling materials Job-site setup, cleanup, and organization Using hand tools and power tools Helping other trades and crew members get the job done Making repairs, adjustments, and figuring things out in the field Following plans, direction, and safety requirements Doing whatever needs to be done to keep the job moving
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Construction or remodeling experience Basic carpentry skills Comfortable with hand and power tools Able to read a tape measure and understand basic plans Reliable transportation Shows up ready to work Can take direction without constant supervision Works well with a crew Takes pride in his work Willing to learn and willing to do the dirty work when that's what the job calls for
THIS IS A HANDS-ON JOB.

Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
