This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from framing and finish carpentry to restoration and remodeling. As a key player in our construction crew, you'll be responsible for assisting with carpentry tasks, operating power tools, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love hands-on work, and are eager to travel and gain broad experience, this position is perfect for you! Training and ongoing development are provided. Duties Unloading and loading of tools/equipment/materials Putty/caulk wood trims, FRP etc. Assist carpenters and tradespeople in all aspects of carpentry work, including framing, finishing, and general construction tasks. Safely handle and maintain carpentry tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Measure, cut, and shape materials under the guidance of experienced carpenters. Help with the installation and assembly of wooden structures, fixtures, and cabinetry. Perform general labor duties, such as cleaning & maintaining the job site. Follow safety protocols and adhere to all safety regulations on the construction site. Able and willing to shadow on the on-site journeyman. Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and high-quality work. Additional duties as assigned by on-site journeyman. Qualifications Prior experience in construction or related trades preferred; familiarity with construction site operations is a plus. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Knowledge of construction management principles and estimating processes is advantageous. Experience with plumbing, electrical systems, drywall installation (including Caulking), framing carpentry, roofing, or restoration work is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to travel frequently between job sites and adapt to changing schedules.
