Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a hardworking and dependable General Contractor Laborer to join our construction team. In this hands-on role, you will support a variety of residential home renovation projects by assisting skilled tradespeople, maintaining safe job sites, and performing general labor duties. The ideal candidate is motivated, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to high-quality construction projects in a fast-paced environment. This position offers opportunities to develop valuable construction skills while working alongside experienced professionals. Duties Assist with construction, renovation, and repair projects by loading, unloading, and transporting materials, tools, and equipment Perform site preparation tasks including demolition, excavation, grading, and cleanup Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks Support carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled trades as needed Assist with framing, drywall installation, painting, concrete work, and general construction activities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and following job site safety procedures Set up and dismantle temporary structures, scaffolding, and barriers as directed Follow project plans, supervisor instructions, and safety regulations to ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately Perform material handling and lifting of construction supplies, equipment, and tools Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or job site hazards to supervisors promptly Experience Previous construction, general labor, landscaping, roofing, or related experience preferred but not required; training may be provided Familiarity with construction site practices and the use of hand tools and power tools is a plus Ability to read and follow basic instructions, measurements, and construction drawings is beneficial Experience operating construction equipment such as skid steers, forklifts, or excavators is a plus but not required Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials throughout the workday Knowledge of construction safety practices and OSHA guidelines is desirable Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required Join our team and help build projects that make a lasting impact.
