Construction Excavation Laborer

In this role, you will assist with excavation and site preparation activities, and supporting skilled operators to ensure efficient project progress. You will have opportunites to work on some prevailing wage projects. Your hands-on contribution will help lay the foundation for successful construction projects, offering a rewarding opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist with excavation tasks, concrete work and underground utilities. Support heavy equipment operators by performing basic maintenance checks and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Help with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including moving materials and clearing debris. Follow safety guidelines diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members. Support paving activities and other site-specific tasks to ensure timely project completion. Requirements Prior experience working on construction sites or in heavy equipment operation is required. Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs. Familiarity with machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and graders. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials safely. $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
