For information on our international network visit www.colas.com . Job Summary Barrett Paving Materials MWC is seeking motivated and hardworking General Construction Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction projects, including paving, site preparation, and general labor tasks. This position is essential for maintaining productivity and safety on job sites, and it provides an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or advance their career in the construction industry. Main Responsibilities Perform physical labor tasks on construction sites, including site preparation, cleanup, and materials handling. Assist skilled tradespeople in tasks such as paving, grading, and general construction activities. Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Load and unload construction materials and supplies from vehicles and storage areas. Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to a positive team environment. Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in training and development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs). Strong work ethic and reliability, with the ability to work in various weather conditions. Basic knowledge of safety practices in construction environments. Good communication and teamwork skills.
