Role:
Griffin Brothers Excavation LLC is seeking a dedicated Skilled Construction Laborer to join our dynamic team in Seymour, CT. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of excavation & underground utility projects while contributing to a company known for its commitment to quality and safety. We are presently looking to expand our team and hire additional skilled laborers that are hard working, willing to learn, able to communicate with co-workers and be an asset to our growing business.
Responsibilities:
Assist in site preparation and excavation activities. Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment. Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget. Load and unload materials and equipment as needed. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in construction or excavation is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work in various weather conditions. Good communication skills and teamwork mentality. Willingness to learn and grow in the construction field.
