The Opportunity We're seeking a motivated Hardscape & Construction Helper who wants to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career. This isn't just a job—it's an opportunity to develop expertise in hardscape construction, carpentry, and landscape installations and grow into a leadership role, potentially advancing to foreman as you master the craft.     Hands-On Construction:
    Assist with installing pavers, retaining walls, walkways, patios, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, and other hardscape features
      Site Preparation:
      Help with excavation, grading, base preparation, and material handling
        Material Management:
        Load, unload, and organize materials including pavers, stone, blocks, and construction supplies
          Equipment Operation:
          Learn to operate and maintain construction equipment, tools, and machinery (training provided)
            Quality Support:
            Assist lead installers in ensuring precise measurements, proper techniques, and quality workmanship
              Problem-Solving:
              Work with the team to troubleshoot challenges and find solutions on job sites
                Safety First:
                Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
                  Client Interaction:
                  Represent our company professionally on residential and commercial job sites
                  What We're Looking For Required:
                  • Strong work ethic and genuine desire to learn a skilled trade
                  • Ability to perform physical labor: lifting 50+ lbs, bending, kneeling, digging throughout the day
                  • Reliable transportation to get to our shop/meeting location
                  • Valid driver's license
                  REQUIRED
                  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
                  • Positive attitude and willingness to take direction
                  • Team player who communicates well with crew members
                  • Commitment to quality and attention to detail
                  Bonus Points:
                  • Previous construction, landscaping, or hardscape experience
                  • Experience with hand and power tools
                  • Basic understanding of measurements and levels
                  • Mechanical aptitude or interest in equipment operation
                  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
                  • CDL or willingness to obtain

                  • Willingness to learn and grow

                                    • Travel to job sites throughout Connecticut (residential and commercial properties)
                                    • Work alongside experienced installers on hardscape installations
                                    • Learn proper techniques for excavation, base prep, paver installation, and finishing work
                                    • Take pride in seeing a project transform from dirt to a beautiful outdoor space
                                    • Return to shop, clean equipment, prepare for next day
