Job Description

Join our construction team as a Construction Laborer. The laborer will perform tasks involving physical labor at highway, building, and heavy construction projects. May operate hand power tools. Duties Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy/highway construction projects; perform manual work in preparing surfaces for paving. Shovel bituminous concrete (asphalt) into construction area. Assist in patching asphalt with hot and cold mix. Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, clean up rubble and debris, and remove asbestos, lead, and other hazardous waste materials. Material handling and storage. Willingly attend and support Foremen/Superintendents during morning huddles and toolbox talks. Other duties as assigned. Education & Experience High School graduate which may be substituted with specific work-related experience.
