Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! In this energetic role, you will assist with various on-site tasks, support skilled tradespeople, and help ensure that construction projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your hands-on work will contribute directly to building durable structures and beautiful landscapes, making a tangible impact in communities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict safety protocols. Responsibilities Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including moving materials and tools Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling components Support concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to ensure precise execution of plans Install rebar and assist with concrete reinforcement to strengthen structures according to blueprints and specifications Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprint specifications accurately for various tasks Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while following safety guidelines to prevent injuries Support masonry, flooring installation, plastering, and renovation activities as directed by supervisors Requirements Proven construction experience or a strong desire to learn the trade with hands-on work experience preferred Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, equipment operation, and material handling Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans effectively Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not mandatory Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Experience working on diverse construction projects including heavy lifting, concrete work, masonry, or renovation projects is highly valued Ability to operate heavy equipment such as mixers or pumps is advantageous but not required Strong work ethic with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions Embark on a rewarding career journey where your efforts build more than structures — they build communities! Pay:
$24.16 - $29.09 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
