DPS Powder Coating is looking for a dependable Manual Laborer to join our team. This position involves working in a powder coating shop environment, assisting with loading, unloading, and handling materials throughout the production process. Join our dynamic team as a Manual Laborer and become a vital part of our hands-on operations! As a Manual Laborer, you will be responsible for performing physically demanding tasks that support the successful completion of various projects. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help ensure smooth workflows, safety, and efficiency across our work sites. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop practical skills while making a real impact every day.Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks
- Move parts and racks throughout the shop
- Assist with hanging and removing parts from racks for coating
- Pull racks out of the oven once parts are finished curing
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Assist other team members as needed
Requirements:
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this role
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or kneeling regularly
- Comfortable working in a shop environment with heat from curing ovens
- Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Prior experience in manual labor or construction is a plus, but not required; training will be provided
Preferred Skills:
- Forklift operation experience
- Warehouse or manufacturing experience
- Experience loading and unloading trucks
