Possible Duties Marine / General Construction Laborer Perform hands-on marine and general construction tasks including seawall installation, dock building, pile driving, and concrete work Assist in the construction of floating and fixed dock systems, piers, boat ramps, boardwalks, and observation decks Install sheet piling, fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) seawalls, and concrete caps Participate in beach renourishment, bridge repairs, wetland restoration, and cofferdam construction Load, unload, and handle materials such as pilings, steel, lumber, and concrete Maintain a clean and safe job site while following all OSHA and company safety protocols Work in varying weather conditions on land and over water Heavy Equipment Operator / Pile Driver Operator Safely operate pile drivers, cranes, excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment on marine and land-based projects Drive and set concrete, steel, and timber pilings for docks, seawalls, marinas, and infrastructure projects Perform precision grading, dredging support, and site preparation for marinas, cruise ship terminals, and community parks Conduct daily equipment inspections, basic maintenance, and minor repairs Follow project plans and engineer specifications to ensure accurate placement of structures Work closely with crew leaders to complete large-scale projects on time and within budget Additional Duties (can be added to any role) Install utilities, fire protection systems, water/electrical lines, and environmental sewer systems in marina projects Build and repair community infrastructure including parks, gazebos, bridges, and observation towers Participate in alternative energy projects (windmills, communications towers) and power plant support work Adhere to all environmental regulations and best practices to minimize impact on Tampa Bay and surrounding waterways Complete required safety training and maintain an exceptional safety record Assist with project setup, teardown, and material transport using company vehicles and trailers.
Pay:
$17.00 - $30.00 per hour
