Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, hardworking General Construction Laborer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, dependable, and ready to contribute to the successful completion of diverse construction tasks. Duties Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring safety and organization. Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, painting, and finishing. Support skilled tradespeople with tasks including plumbing, electrical work, masonry, roofing, and flooring installation. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements. Operate heavy equipment and machinery safely when required for site work or material handling. Assist with concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work to ensure quality standards are met. Support restoration, remodeling, and custom fabrication projects as needed. Experience Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated individuals. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques is advantageous. Experience with various construction disciplines such as carpentry, roofing, stucco application, tile laying, or welding is a plus. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently is desirable. Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards are essential. Must be able to shovel, sweep, rake, and perform general labor duties Able to work outdoors in Florida heat and varying weather conditions Valid driver's license required Reliable transportation Strong work ethic and positive attitude Punctual, responsible, and able to follow directions
