Duties Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material staging Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling components Support concrete-related activities including mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting concrete to specifications Install rebar and construct formwork for concrete structures following blueprints and technical drawings Help with masonry work, including laying bricks or blocks and installing flooring or other hardscape elements Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members Interpret construction plans and blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications Conduct heavy lifting and assist with the operation of heavy equipment such as concrete pumps or mixers as needed Support renovation projects by performing plastering, flooring installation, or other finishing tasks Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored after use Skills Mechanical knowledge for operating tools and understanding basic machinery functions Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and project timelines Experience with concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and cutting techniques Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively Skills in rebar installation, masonry work, plastering, flooring installation, and working with hardscape elements Ability to interpret blueprint specifications for various construction tasks Experience working on diverse construction projects including renovations or new builds Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, and working in various weather conditions Embark on a rewarding career where your skills build more than structures — they build your future!
