Underground Utilities & Excavation Job Type:
Full-Time Job Description:
We are hiring a dependable and hardworking Construction Laborer to support our underground utilities and excavation crew. This position involves assisting with the installation of water, sewer, and storm drainage systems, as well as general site preparation and excavation work.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with trenching, digging, and backfilling operations Support installation of underground utilities including water, sewer, and drainage systems Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment Maintain a clean and safe job site Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations Work alongside operators and supervisors to complete projects efficiently Use hand tools and small equipment as needed
Qualifications:
Previous construction or labor experience preferred (underground utilities a plus) Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions Willingness to learn and take direction Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work as part of a team
Preferred Skills:
Experience with pipe laying, grading, or site work Familiarity with construction tools and equipment Basic knowledge of job site safety practices Valid driver's license preferred
