This energetic role offers you the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial renovations to new build sites, utilizing your hands-on skills and enthusiasm. As a Construction Laborer, you'll support skilled tradespeople by performing essential tasks that keep projects moving forward efficiently and safely. Whether you're experienced in concrete work, framing, or general site preparation, this position provides a platform to grow your construction expertise while contributing to high-quality builds. Responsibilities Operate power tools and hand tools safely for tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling materials. Support heavy equipment operation and perform heavy lifting to move materials around the site efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to assist tradespeople in executing their tasks accurately. Prepare sites by clearing debris, and performing demolition activities as needed. Mix and pour concrete using mixers or pumps; ensure proper curing and finishing techniques are followed. Support roadway and earthwork operations. Qualifications Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential! Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation are highly valued. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, or construction estimating is a plus but not mandatory. Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities to coordinate effectively with crew members. Valid driver's license for commercial driving or site transportation is advantageous. Certifications such as OSHA safety training or specialized trade licenses are a bonus but not required at the outset.
