Summary This role will play a vital part in assisting our team on our construction projects and is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations on the jobsite. This is a full-time position and will be focused on commercial projects in Miami Gardens and may be assigned to other jobsites outside of the local area. Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): Use a variety of tools and equipment to perform work Load and unload materials and equipment Operate various construction tools and equipment Maintain equipment and tools in good condition Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures Communicate with Superintendent and subcontractors Participate in trainings and team meetings Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties Complete tasks as assigned Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task Maintain a clean job site, requiring picking up all tools, trash, equipment while securing job site each day to ensure safety and any theft that may occur Mop, brush, or spread paints, cleaning solutions, or other compounds over surfaces to clean paint or provide protection Construct, install, maintain, upgrade and remove advertising/banner and structures for it Follow instructions from supervisors Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary Ability to work Overtime, nights, weekends, and early mornings Qualifications Experience on jobsites in commercial construction Must be able to pass background check and drug screening Ability to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and written Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions Math skills used for counting, recording, calculating, and reporting Must be able to follow instructions for specific tasks or specific situations Team player Must be able to lift and move items that weigh up to 50 lbs Carpentry experience preferred OSHA 10 preferred Bilingual preferred Standard Construction offers comprehensive insurance including medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more. Pay:
