To perform surface preparation and crack repair in stucco, concrete, and masonry on a commercial construction project in Miami-Dade County. Role requires prior field experience in repair procedures and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform controlled crack preparation using grinders, chisels, and surface profiling techniques.
- Clean and prepare substrates using compressed air and mechanical methods.
- Apply patching materials, sealants, and repair compounds to cracks and surface defects in accordance with project specifications and manufacturer instructions.
- Perform localized application of sealants at cracks, joints, and window perimeters as part of maintenance and repair work.
- Maintain work areas clean and organized and comply with all jobsite safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete/stucco repair or surface preparation.
- Experience using grinders, chipping tools, and repair materials.
- Ability to follow technical procedures and work to specification.
- OSHA 10
Hour Certification Specialized Equipment:
- Angle grinders with dust control, rotary hammers, mixing equipment, and surface prep tools.
