General Laborer - Spanish

The Kearney Companies is a Site & Utilities Contractor based in Riverview, FL. Our projects include site development, underground utilities, roadway construction, and public infrastructure work throughout the Tampa Bay area. Due to continued growth, we are seeking multiple General Laborers - Spanish to support our team in the Brandon/Riverview area. We currently have multiple openings for dependable employees who aren't afraid of work. Your job duties will be to travel to our job sites and assist our different crews. This is the perfect entry-level position for getting started in the construction industry. Our company offers plenty of opportunity for growth and overtime hours. Our jobsites can be anywhere within 50 miles away from the office. Meaning we could have jobsites in Zephyrhills, Wesley Chapel, Lakeland, Haines City, Bartow etc. Applicants MUST have valid drivers license and be able to commute to our jobsites.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in construction or a related field preferred. Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds or more). Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to follow instructions and work independently when necessary. Work primarily outdoors on construction sites. Able to withstand exposure to various weather conditions, noise, and dust. Physical demands include bending, kneeling, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements:

Assist in preparing construction sites, including loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment. Perform a variety of tasks that may include digging trenches, shoveling materials, and operating hand tools under the direction of supervisors. Transport materials and equipment to designated areas on the construction site, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including clearing debris, sweeping, and disposing of waste materials appropriately. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety meetings and training session Salary & Benefits The salary for this position will commensurate according to experience
