Responsibilities Assist in the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively to support construction tasks. Help with concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, cutting, and pumping to create durable structures. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications and ensure accurate execution. Install rebar, construct formwork, and perform masonry tasks such as plastering and flooring installation. Support the installation of hardscape features and perform renovation activities as needed. Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocols at all times. Requirements Previous experience working on construction projects or in a related trade is highly preferred. Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous. Ability to read blueprints, interpret technical drawings, and understand blueprint specifications. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, concrete cutting equipment, and heavy lifting techniques. Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills in masonry, carpentry, rebar installation, formwork construction, concrete pouring/finishing, flooring installation, plastering, and renovation projects.
