In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting various phases of construction projects by performing skilled and unskilled tasks across different trades. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills, and contribute to building quality structures from the ground up. Duties Assist with site preparation, including clearing, grading, and setting up work zones to ensure a safe and organized environment. Operate hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, hammers, and grinders to perform tasks related to framing, drywall installation, or finishing. Support tradespeople by handling materials, measuring and cutting materials accurately based on blueprints or schematics. Perform concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work to contribute to foundational or structural elements of projects. Assist with roofing installation, caulking, stucco application, and trim carpentry to enhance building exterior and interior finishes. Support heavy equipment operation when required for lifting or moving materials around the site. Conduct routine inspections of work areas to ensure safety compliance and quality standards are maintained throughout each phase of construction. Skills Experience with masonry, grout and stucco work. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of construction inspection procedures to verify quality control measures. Familiarity with plumbing, electrical systems, flooring installation, tile laying, welding, masonry, framing carpentry, roofing, restoration work, hardscape installation, glass installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, painting techniques including construction painting and plastering. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or cranes when necessary. Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites to prevent accidents and injuries.
