Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Equipment Operator/Laborer to join our client's construction team. This role involves operating various construction machinery, performing utility and site work, and supporting the overall progress of construction projects. Responsibilities Operate heavy construction equipment including excavators, loaders, backhoes, and Caterpillar machinery to perform excavation, grading, and utility installation tasks. Support construction activities by loading, unloading, and transporting materials using commercial trucks and other equipment. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and other construction machinery. Knowledge of construction utility work, excavation techniques, and site grading processes. Familiarity with utility locating methods and tools used for underground utility detection. Valid driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving preferred. Strong understanding of federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures.. Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on utility installation or excavation projects. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
