Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a General Laborer Truss, where you'll play a vital role in the construction and assembly of metal building frameworks, trusses, and related structural components. This position offers an energetic environment focused on teamwork, safety, and precision. You'll be involved in various aspects of construction projects, from handling materials to assisting with the installation of structural elements, ensuring that each project meets quality standards and safety regulations. Duties Assist in the assembly and installation of metal trusses, framing, and structural components according to blueprints and technical drawings Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and install materials Perform heavy lifting tasks to move lumber, metal studs, concrete forms, rebar, and other building materials on-site Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate measurements and placements Support masonry tasks such as concrete forming, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, and restoration work Help with framing carpentry including woodworking, trim carpentry, siding installation, and dimensional measurements Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times Requirements Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles such as metal building erection or concrete forming is highly preferred Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and basic math skills for precise measurements Knowledge of interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans Familiarity with construction safety standards and practices Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills Valid experience or certification in areas such as welding, rebar installation, masonry, or framing carpentry is a plus Join us if you're ready to contribute to impactful projects while sharpening your skills across diverse construction disciplines.
