Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! In this energetic role, you will assist in a variety of construction tasks, support skilled tradespeople, and help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while contributing to impactful building projects. Whether working on commercial renovations, new builds, or restoration efforts, your dedication and hard work will make a tangible difference every day. Responsibilities Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to support various construction activities. Operate power tools and hand tools safely to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, or concrete finishing. Support rebar installation, concrete forming, and concrete pumping to ensure structural integrity. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to follow project specifications accurately. Perform site cleanup, organize materials, and prepare work areas for ongoing or upcoming tasks. Support masonry work including stucco, tile laying, and brickwork as needed. Contribute to renovation projects by assisting with carpentry, roofing, caulking, and trim carpentry tasks. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or other machinery required for site logistics. Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure construction environment. Requirements Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for eager learners. Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation are highly desirable. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Basic understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is a plus. Knowledge of various construction disciplines such as masonry, carpentry (including frame and metal stud framing), roofing, plastering, restoration, and flooring installation is advantageous. Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience is a bonus; willingness to operate equipment safely is essential. Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities; safety-conscious mindset at all times. This role is paid — we value every contribution from our team members!
