Construction Worker

Our growing company is looking for a hard-working and skilled construction worker to help bring our construction plans to life! Under our construction manager's direction, you will work alongside a team of other skilled laborers and tradesmen, and apply your knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment to keep the project on track. You must have previous job-site experience, an OSHA 10 card, and have a great work ethic and physical stamina. If this sounds like you, apply now!

Compensation:

$25 - $28 hourly

Responsibilities:

Build temporary structures such as signs, cones, barricades, ramps, and other devices to control traffic around the construction site and tear down old structures Transfer, carry, and unload tools and building materials such as sheetrock, lumber, tile, saws, grout, etc. Follow all directions of the construction manager, and work with other team members to complete construction projects accurately Assist sub-contractors, tradesmen, and craft workers like roofers, plasterers, carpenters, painters, and electricians as needed Remove debris and hazardous materials to keep the job site safe and clean to meet safety regulations and OSHA requirements Execute construction tasks with precision, ensuring each project meets our high standards of quality and safety Collaborate with the construction manager and team to interpret and implement detailed construction plans Operate and maintain construction tools and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and efficiently Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, maintaining a tidy and organized work environment Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion Identify and report any potential issues or hazards on site, contributing to a safe working environment for all Adapt to various tasks and challenges, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills as needed

Qualifications:

Physical stamina and physical strength are needed Possess a valid drivers license Ability to work in adverse weather conditions such as extreme temperatures and rain Strong depth perception, good eye-hand coordination, and mechanical skills are helpful Experience working on a construction site, understanding of blueprints and construction plans, and knowledge of construction tools, methods, and equipment is required About Company Coastal View Construction, we pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional customer experience by adhering to our guiding principles.
