Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of various building projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring the smooth progression of construction activities. Your hands-on involvement will contribute to creating safe, durable, and high-quality structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while supporting diverse construction initiatives. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as moving supplies, equipment, and materials around the site Support concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to ensure structural integrity Operate hand tools and power tools safely to carry out tasks like rebar installation, masonry work, and framing Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to follow specifications accurately Aid in the installation of heavy-duty components such as metal stud framing, stucco, roofing, and flooring Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site Skills Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction tools and equipment operation Experience with construction estimating processes and interpreting blueprint specifications Proficiency in concrete mixing, pumping, pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction Strong understanding of safety protocols and adherence to OSHA or local safety regulations Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment effectively on various projects Knowledge of masonry techniques including rebar installation and concrete reinforcement methods Familiarity with renovation work such as plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, restoration projects, and heavy lifting tasks Join our team if you're eager to build your career in a vibrant construction environment where safety is prioritized and your skills are valued.
