Our company values safety, expertise, and customer satisfaction. Summary We are seeking a General Shop Laborer to join our team in the United States. This role is vital in supporting our operations by handling equipment, assisting with manufacturing processes, and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will contribute to our mission of providing top-tier service. Responsibilities Perform daily maintenance duties each morning, including pre-inspections, moving forklifts, sweeping, emptying trash bins, and cleaning slip hazards. Repeat as needed throughout the day. Follow instructions from shop management and shop personnel. Pressure wash, detail, and clean equipment or assets, including degreasing, waxing, polishing, and general cleaning. Operate forklifts to unload pallets as needed and for general use in the shop or yard. Occasionally use banding machines or shrink wrap. Check with the shop office for parts runs or other miscellaneous duties, using a ½-ton vehicle or larger. Work closely with others to help organize and support shop operations and inventory software. Put away or pull parts, supplies, attachments, or tools regularly while using shop software. Assist mechanics as needed in the shop or yard; may also help with service calls at job sites. Make occasional deliveries to job sites or vendors throughout the Pacific Northwest using ½-ton or 1-ton vehicles. Ability to pull a trailer is a plus. Overnight stays may be required. Perform evening maintenance duties such as moving forklifts, locking Conex containers, closing gates, and assisting with shop closing. Requirements General awareness of safety practices and PPE requirements. Clean driving record with a valid driver's license. Ability to pass drug testing. Full-time position with overtime, Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Occasional Saturday work from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
