Job Description
Excavation & Boring Laborer We are looking for a dependable laborer to join our excavation and boring crew. This is a hands-on construction position working alongside equipment operators and other crew members on excavation, underground boring, and utility projects. The position involves outdoor work, manual labor, and travel to different jobsites. What You'll Be Doing Shoveling and moving dirt, gravel, mud, and other materials Digging and cleaning around excavation and boring work Assisting equipment operators and the boring crew Loading and unloading materials and equipment Moving pipe, conduit, tools, and other jobsite materials Setting up and cleaning up jobsites Assisting with underground utility and boring work Using basic hand tools and construction equipment Performing general labor as needed to keep the job moving Traveling to different jobsites as required What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Comfortable performing general manual labor Able to use a shovel and perform digging as needed Able to work outdoors for extended periods Comfortable working in different weather conditions Able to lift and carry materials and equipment Willing to learn and take direction Works well with others Willing to travel to different jobsites Previous construction, excavation, or utility experience is a plus, but not required The Job This position involves working outdoors on a variety of excavation and boring projects. Workdays can be long depending on the job, and employees should be prepared to work a full day and travel to different jobsites. You will work alongside experienced operators and crew members and have the opportunity to learn more about excavation, underground boring, and utility work. Previous experience is helpful but not required. We are looking for someone dependable who is willing to learn and be a productive member of the crew.
