Job Description

Cobblestone Landscaping is seeking a skilled, reliable and hardworking Landscape Construction Laborer to be part of our team. The main duties and tasks include assisting the Crew Foreman with the installation of hardscape and softscape projects. At Cobblestone Landscaping we are a Design/Build company based out of Genesee, ID that is dedicated to working with our clients to install beautiful and creative landscapes in a professional manner. The projects we design and install vary from simple irrigation fixes to full landscape renovations with block retention walls, paver patios, pergolas, decks, fences, irrigation systems, and plant material. To be a successful Landscape Construction Laborer you should be able to follow instructions, have an interest and willingness to learn new skills in landscape construction, be a team player, be dependable and punctual. Job duties include but are not limited to: Operate a variety of hand, power tools and equipment Installing plant material, laying sod and spreading rock, compost and bark Assist with hardscape preparation and installation - retention walls, paver patios, etc. Assist with the installation of irrigation systems - dig trenches, backfill, lay pipe, etc. Haul material around a jobsite using wheelbarrows, shovels, and/or by hand lifting/carrying Assist Crew Foreman in project preparation Maintain and repair landscape tools and equipment Follow safety protocols
Qualifications:
Ability to operate equipment such as skid steer, tractor, and mini x, is a plus Previous landscape construction experience is valued but not required Willingness to learn and acquire skills Must be able to follow instructions Willingness to work outside in all types of weather Mechanical knowledge is a plus
