+ Friday- Sunday 6am- 6:30pm
Location:
Nampa, ID Job Description This role supports an advanced, fully automated volumetric modular construction facility that builds high-quality, affordable housing. As a Construction Laborer, you will work indoors in a permanent location, using modern tools and automation to help streamline production, reduce heavy lifting, and contribute to an innovative approach to off-site construction. Responsibilities + Support the production of volumetric modular units in a state-of-the-art automated construction facility. + Work in an assigned department within the factory, as determined during the interview process, to complete construction and production tasks safely and efficiently. + Use hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools to perform construction-related work such as measuring, cutting, fastening, and assembling components. + Accurately read and interpret tape measurements down to 1/16 of an inch to ensure precise construction and assembly. + Assist in maintaining a stable production flow and high uptime of factory machinery by working efficiently and following established processes. + Follow instructions, processes, and strategies designed to improve team performance and overall production quality. + Identify issues on the production line, troubleshoot basic problems, and take initiative to resolve or escalate them as appropriate. + Collaborate with team members to support continuous improvement, innovation, and the implementation of new ideas and methods. + Consistently promote and perform according to the company's values, including safety, quality, teamwork, and respect. + Perform physically active tasks such as standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and regularly lifting materials weighing 50 pounds or more. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety guidelines and using tools and equipment correctly. Essential Skills + Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch. + Experience working with hand tools, including basic construction and carpentry tools. + Experience using power tools and pneumatic tools in a construction, production, or warehouse environment. + Strong drive to maintain a stable production pace and high uptime for factory machinery. + Proven ability to problem-solve and take initiative without constant supervision. + Willingness to follow To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
