General Construction Laborer Pocatello & Surrounding Areas | Full-Time | $16.00-$21.00/
Hour DOE Now Hiring:
General Construction Laborers Gem State Staffing in Pocatello is looking for hardworking, dependable General Construction Laborers to join our team! If you're comfortable working outdoors, enjoy physical work, and have experience on construction sites, we have opportunities waiting for you. Projects vary and may include masonry, demolition, restoration, site cleanup, material handling, scaffolding, and general construction support. If you can operate construction equipment or already own your own tools, that's a huge plus—but not required. We can provide the tools you need to get the job done. Pay- $16.00-$21.00 per hour
- DOE (Depending on Experience)
- Overtime opportunities may be available Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Typical hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Hours may vary depending on project demands, weather, and client needs Job Responsibilities
- Perform general construction labor on residential and commercial job sites
- Assist with masonry, demolition, restoration, and site cleanup
- Build, assemble, and work safely on scaffolding
- Load, unload, and move construction materials
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradesmen as needed
- Perform general job site cleanup and debris removal
- Follow directions from supervisors and project leads
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all OSHA and company safety policies Minimum Qualifications
- Previous construction experience preferred
- Must be comfortable working at heights and on scaffolding
- Familiarity with construction site safety and PPE requirements
- Experience using common hand tools and power tools
- Reliable transportation to various job sites
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating construction equipment
- Experience in masonry, demolition, restoration, or concrete work
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow basic construction plans
- Own basic construction tools (not required, but a plus)
