Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as an Equipment Operator/Laborer and be a vital part of building infrastructure that makes a difference! In this energetic role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery, assist with construction tasks, and ensure safety and efficiency on-site. Duties Operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and Caterpillar machinery to support construction projects. Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, paving, horizontal drilling, and tanker operations to ensure project specifications are met efficiently. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to guarantee safety and optimal performance. Support construction activities by loading/unloading materials and assisting with site cleanup. Follow safety protocols diligently and communicate effectively with team members to maintain a secure work environment. Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including positioning equipment and ensuring proper signage. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to execute project plans accurately and on schedule. Requirements Read plans and grade sticks able to set laser to grade Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and Caterpillar machinery. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on machinery. Construction site experience with familiarity in horizontal drilling, paving, or related activities is highly preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Strong understanding of construction safety procedures and protocols.
