Chimney Sweep Laborer (Entry-Level)

Job Overview Chimney Bear is hiring a dependable, hard-working Chimney Sweep Laborer to join our growing team. This is an entry-level position — no prior chimney experience is required. We provide hands-on training to teach you the skills needed to succeed in this trade. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in doing a job right, and wants to build a long-term career in the home service industry. What You'll Do Assist in chimney sweeping and inspection services (fireplaces and appliance flues) Help set up and protect work areas inside customers' homes Carry equipment, tools, and materials to and from job sites Assistant in installations and repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment Support lead technicians during service appointments Learn chimney systems, safety standards, and service procedures Interact respectfully and professionally with homeowners What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, climbing ladders, working on roofs when needed) Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions Reliable transportation to and from work Willingness to learn and follow instructions Good communication skills Must be dependable and punctual Requirements Valid driver's license preferred Ability to lift 50+ lbs Comfortable with heights and ladder work Background check may be required Why Work With Us Paid, hands-on training — no experience needed Opportunity to grow into a technician role Stable, year-round work
