Duties Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately execute remodeling projects. Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as framing, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, and trim carpentry. Install windows, doors, cabinetry, glass panels, and other building materials with precision. Perform demolition, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and drywall finishing to prepare spaces for new installations. Conduct hardscaping construction projects including paving, stonework, fencing, and outdoor hardscape features. Manage plumbing and electrical components during renovations when necessary, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Operate heavy equipment as required for site preparation or material transportation while maintaining strict safety standards. Inspect construction sites regularly to ensure quality control and adherence to building codes and safety regulations. Collaborate with project managers by providing accurate estimates using construction estimating tools like Bluebeam or similar software. Maintain a clean and organized work environment; adhere to all safety protocols throughout every phase of the project. Qualifications Proven experience in building construction, remodeling, or related fields with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and construction plans accurately. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical work, drywall installation, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and cabinet mounting. Familiarity with construction management practices and construction estimating software such as Bluebeam is preferred. Ability to operate heavy machinery safely on outdoor sites; experience with hardscaping is a plus. Strong understanding of safety protocols; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment at all times. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work environments; capable of lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
