POSITION DESCRIPTION
An ER/Field Technician at SET Environmental is responsible to: Ensure the health and safety of the crew, customer, and site by adhering to SET safety policies and procedures by identifying, communicating, and mitigating hazards Take an active role on crews by participating in both scheduled and emergency response-based projects Assist in loading equipment and supplies for project needs Exert moderate physical effort, including lifting up to 50lbs Work in a variety of weather conditions Support of various environmental projects ranging from, but not limited to: Confined Space Entry - CSE Environmental remediation Waterway response Hazardous materials clean up Perform other miscellaneous duties as necessary
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent, preferred Must be over 21 years old 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER or ability to obtain Must be flexible to changes in work schedule and be available for On-call Basic computer skills Ability to perform physical labor under direction of crew leads Ability to respond to out-of-town projects as needed Ability to speak, read, and write English sufficiently Industry/Construction experience preferred but not required Valid Driver's License with good driving record that meets SET insurance requirements SET Environmental is an equal employment opportunity employer which provides a drug-free workplace.
