Job Description

A multidisciplinary national firm is seeking a motivated Construction Technician to join their team in Rockford, Illinois, where they will contribute to a wide range of roadway projects across IDOT District 2. Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site visits and monitor construction progress Assist with project documentation and inspection in line with IDOT standards Support occasional construction layout and survey tasks Collaborate closely with contractors to ensure project consistency and quality
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of construction experience EIT (Engineer in Training) certification preferred IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities certification required Experience working as a construction inspector or technician on infrastructure projects
