Local flooring company is looking for a few subcontractors to train, although experienced are welcome to apply as well. If you love to work with your hands, and are interested in woodworking. We are seeking a dedicated Flooring helpers to join our team. This role involves assisting with various flooring projects, including installation, repair, refinishing, and restoration work. For the good fit candidate, training is an option... training will be hands-on experience in construction and flooring-related tasks, with a strong focus on quality and safety. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills across multiple aspects of construction and flooring industries, contributing to high-quality project completion.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation and/or repair of flooring materials such as hardwood, ceramic tile, epoxy. Prepare work sites by setting up necessary tools and materials. Use hand tools and power tools safely for sanding and installing flooring components. Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times.Requirements:
This is position is for subcontracting and is not an employment position. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, buffing equipment, and other relevant machinery. Experienced is preferred but training will be available for ideal candidates. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team environment. This role is essential for ensuring the successful completion of flooring projects while maintaining high standards of safety and craftsmanship.
