Roto-Rooter is hiring Restoration Technicians and Laborers! Our Water Cleanup Department in Ft. Wayne is growing quickly, and we are looking for additional help! Good fit for those with carpet cleaning, construction, lawn care, pest control, and general laborer. IICRC Certification a plus! Competitive Salary based on experience - BONUS

OPPORTUNITIES

As a water restoration technician your responsibilities will include: Responding to daily emergency services. Extract water from flooded structures using commercial extraction equipment. Communicate job process with customers and answer questions accordingly. Must be able to measure and sketch basic floor plan. Remove damaged or wet building materials such as carpet, pad, baseboard, cabinets, drywall. Take daily moisture readings, measurements, set up commercial drying equipment. Responsible for cleanliness and care of Roto-Rooter vehicle.

Requirements include:

IICRC Certification a PLUS! Must have a professional appearance and great attitude. A valid driver license with a reasonable driving record. Ability to pass a criminal background check with no felony convictions or misdemeanors involving violence or theft. Must be able to pass a drug test. Because we provide 24-hour emergency service, must be willing to be on call when needed. Some night and weekend work is required. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Must have a high school diploma or a GED certificate.
