Job Description

Overview Construction Crew Laborer for this family owner inground swimming pool business of 50 years. Valid driver's license necessary. Duties Assist with site preparation, including excavation, grading, and debris removal to handling materials, and setting up tools and equipment efficiently. Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and cleaning work areas to maintain safety and organization. Follow all safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure environment for yourself and your team members. Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment with care and precision. Aid in the installation of pool accessories such as filters, pumps, lighting fixtures and decking material. Support the installation of structures by holding materials in place or assisting with assembly as directed. Operate basic machinery or power tools under supervision, adhering to safety guidelines at all times. maintain a clean work site by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials safely and efficiently. Skills Experience with construction site activities including excavation, framing, masonry, or concrete finishing. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward assisting others on-site. Good communication skills to understand instructions clearly and collaborate effectively. Basic knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work efficiently under supervision. Willingness to learn new skills related to construction processes and equipment operation. Willing to train the proper candidate for this position.
