General Labor - 3rd Shift

At JW Hicks, we are always looking for talented individuals to join our growing team in Knox, Indiana. Currently we are looking to add General Laborers to 3rd Shift . We have a passion to produce the best refractory products on the market and are seeking individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and heart for "Doing it Right."

General Labor Job Responsibilities:

Demold parts and reassemble molds for next day Cast, press or finish product Operate ovens and kilns to dry and fire product Maintain raw material and product identification and record data into ERP system Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials and work in progress General Laborer Qualifications Good "hands on" skills with reasonable mechanical aptitude Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout shift Positive attitude and willingness to learn High school diploma or equivalent required Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment physical and drug screen prior to employment Benefits Competitive pay and merit-based increases Comprehensive health, dental, life and vision insurance Career advancement opportunities in a growing company Supportive, team-oriented work environment Paid time off and retirement plan options This is a Sunday-Thursday, over-night position with some overtime available.
