Construction Laborer

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will assist in various construction projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and according to safety guidelines. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in different weather conditions and perform manual labor tasks.

Duties:

• Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Operate hand tools and power tools as directed
• Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact soil
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete
• Assist with the installation of pipes, cables, and other construction components
• Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Perform general maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
