Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic General Laborer specializing in Lawn Care and Landscaping to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces by performing a variety of landscaping, gardening, and groundskeeping tasks. Your enthusiasm and hands-on approach will contribute to creating inviting, well-maintained environments for our clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and construction-related activities while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. This is a part time position that could become full time! Responsibilities Assist with lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and general turf maintenance using power tools and hand tools Perform landscape installation tasks including planting, mulching, and hardscape construction such as patios or walkways Operate equipment such as excavators, snow plows, and irrigation systems to support landscape projects and seasonal needs Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal with proper safety procedures Maintain gardens and landscaped areas through watering, fertilizing, weeding, and horticultural practices Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for properties Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency during daily tasks Skills Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping machinery and power tools Strong lawn care skills including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration Experience with landscape maintenance techniques such as planting, mulching, pruning, and irrigation setup Knowledge of landscaping design principles and hardscape installation methods Ability to use hand tools effectively for gardening and construction tasks Familiarity with equipment like excavators or other construction machinery is a plus Understanding of tree care practices including trimming and removal procedures Basic knowledge of horticulture principles to support plant health and growth Ability to perform snow plowing safely during winter months Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods Strong teamwork skills with a focus on safety protocols in all activities Join us to help transform outdoor spaces into vibrant landscapes!
