A&K Railroad Materials is seeking Track Construction Laborers, Equipment Operators and CDL Class A drivers to join our Field Operations Division. We are looking for hard-working, motivated individuals who are dedicated to safety, teamwork and professionalism. Individuals in this division work as a small team moving from site-to-site and are responsible for all tasks related to railroad track removal, movement to a centralized location and shipment. CDL Class A drivers with little or no experience are welcome to apply. Individuals with a good work ethic in physical labor and a dedication to safety should apply. All members of the small teams will perform all tasks associated with completing the job - we don't have a "that's not my job" attitude. Requirements:

Previous experience with the following is preferred but not required. Equipment Operators 1 year experience operating front end loaders, excavators, skid steer, and other various walk behind track equipment. 1 year experience operating a boom truck with grapple and magnet and ability to maintain equipment. CDL Drivers Experience loading and unloading equipment as well as ability to operate and maintain the equipment. Laborers Experience dismantling railroad track by physical or mechanical means. Experience sorting railroad materials physically or with machinery. Experience cutting and drilling rail using hydraulic machinery. Ability to lift at least 30 lbs This position has repetitive movement such as lifting and turning.
