Job Description:

We are a growing residential construction company specializing in home building, decks, and remodeling . We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team on a contract basis. This position starts with a paid trial period (1-3 days) to evaluate your skills, work ethic, and reliability. Successful candidates will be offered ongoing project-based work. We are also looking for someone who can grow into a job site foreman role. If you have leadership ability, take pride in your work, and can manage projects and people over time, there is an opportunity to step into a higher-responsibility position.

Responsibilities:

Assist with residential construction projects (decks, remodels, framing, etc.) Perform general labor tasks including demolition, material handling, and site cleanup Operate basic hand and power tools Follow instructions from crew lead or contractor Maintain a safe and organized job site Support carpentry and building tasks as needed

Requirements:

Construction or general labor experience preferred (but not required) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions Reliable transportation to job sites Strong attendance and punctuality Ability to take direction and work well with a team Basic tool knowledge is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in framing, decking, or remodeling Basic leadership or crew lead experience Ability to take initiative and solve problems on the job site Interest in growing into a foreman role

Schedule:

Monday-Friday (some weekends depending on project needs) 8-10 hour shifts typical

Trial Period:

1-3 paid working days Used to evaluate performance, attitude, and reliability Opportunity for ongoing contract work after successful trial
