In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment and assisting with construction site activities to ensure efficient project progress. Your expertise will help maintain safety standards, support project timelines, and contribute to the successful completion of diverse construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with industry-leading machinery and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers (dozers), loaders, backhoes, graders, and Caterpillar machinery to perform tasks including excavation, grading, loading, and hauling materials. Assist with construction site preparation, including site clearing, grading, and material placement. Maintain equipment safety by conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and performing minor repairs or adjustments. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and team members. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently while adhering to project timelines and quality standards. Assist with general labor duties such as site cleanup, material handling, and setting up job sites for daily operations. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy construction equipment and tools. Proven experience operating excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and other heavy machinery. Knowledge of construction site safety practices and OSHA regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or plans related to grading or excavation work. Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when needed.
