Job Description
Position Summary Responsible for work in the construction and maintenance of the street system for the City of Wellington. Essential Functions Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Schedule and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity. 1. Performs maintenance, services and minor repairs to assigned equipment 2. Operates street maintenance equipment, tractors and trucks 3. Performs routine maintenance on streets, alleys, curbs, sidewalks and other public facilities 4. Install signs, mows and trims right-of-ways 5. Loads and unloads materials and other departmental supplies 6. Enforces and maintains compliance with all federal, state and local laws and ordinances 7. Performs other duties as assigned or deemed necessary 8. Complies with all organizational and departmental policies and procedures 9. Operates all job-related equipment, machinery, tools and other aids as required or needed 10.
