Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties Assist in the preparation and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively, including those used for masonry, concrete forming, and frame carpentry. Perform tasks related to construction management, such as reading schematics and following blueprints. Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks, including plumbing, plastering, welding, and construction inspection. Help with the mixing and application of concrete and other materials as required. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues to supervisors promptly. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Requirements Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction. Basic understanding of construction management principles and ability to read schematics. Knowledge of masonry techniques, concrete forming processes, plumbing systems, plastering methods, welding practices, and frame carpentry is advantageous. Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds). Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to safety on the job site.
