Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Contractor Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of the workforce, assisting with a variety of tasks on industrial and commercial construction sites. Your energy and attention to safety will help ensure projects progress smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction operations while contributing to high-quality building projects. Responsibilities Assist with site preparation, including erosion control measures and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment Support skilled trades by handling manual labor tasks such as heavy lifting, material transport, and equipment setup Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to assist in project execution Operate power tools and basic equipment safely under supervision, ensuring proper maintenance and repair when needed Follow all workplace safety regulations, including OSHA standards, respiratory protection protocols, and climbing safety procedures Implement erosion control practices to prevent soil runoff and protect surrounding environments during construction activities Support the installation of construction components according to technical specifications while adhering to safety standards Requirements Prior industrial or commercial construction experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, climbing, and working at heights Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment repair is a plus but not required Familiarity with power tools, equipment operation, and basic maintenance procedures Strong commitment to workplace safety practices and the implementation of safety regulations throughout all tasks Carpenters, siding installers & window installers.
Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
