Construction Laborer/helper

Job Summary We are a residential remodeling contractor looking for a motivated Construction Laborer / Remodel Helper to join our team. This is hands-on work assisting with bathroom and home renovation projects, including demolition, cleanup, material handling, and helping skilled trades. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn the trades and grow with a small crew. Responsibilities Assist with site preparation, demolition, and cleanup Load and unload construction materials and tools efficiently and safely Help carpenters and other trades as needed Maintain a clean and safe job site Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision, ensuring proper use and maintenance Help with site cleanup at the end of each workday to keep the area safe and organized Contribute to the overall progress of projects by completing assigned tasks promptly and accurately Qualifications Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, bending, climbing ladders, working in heat/cold) Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills Good communication skills and ability to follow directions clearly Basic understanding of construction safety practices is preferred but not required Prior construction or manual labor experience is a plus, but not required Must be able to stand, lift heavy objects, bend, kneel, and climb ladders regularly Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required Basic hand tools preferred (tape measure, hammer, utility knife, etc.)

Pay & Schedule Pay:

$15

• $21 per hour (based on experience) Full-time or part-time available Opportunity for raises as skills increase

Important:

Phone interviews will begin March 16th. Selected candidates will then be scheduled for in-person interviews. Position start date is approximately April 20th. Applicants should be available for that timeline. We are not hiring for immediate start at this time. This position includes a 60-day probation period. Continued employment and pay increases will be based on work ethic, reliability, attitude, and available workload. This is an at-will position, and hours may vary depending on project schedule.
