This position works directly with carpenters, foremen, and project managers to support residential, commercial, and structural construction projects. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, willing to work hard, and takes pride in producing quality work while maintaining a safe and productive job site. Responsibilities Assist carpenters with framing, demolition, installation, and general construction activities. Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment. Prepare and clean work areas before, during, and after construction activities. Assist with excavation, footing work, concrete placement, and site preparation. Support structural projects including beam replacements, steel installations, and temporary support systems. Measure, cut, and assemble materials under the direction of lead carpenters and foremen. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Perform general labor tasks as required to support project completion. Qualifications Construction experience. Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Reliable transportation to and from job sites. Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently. OSHA 10 Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly. Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, and standing. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to perform physical labor throughout an 8-10 hour workday. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
