In this energetic role, you will be an essential part of creating beautiful, durable outdoor spaces by assisting with the construction and installation of decks and related structures. Your hands-on skills and dedication will help bring clients' visions to life, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and safety on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your construction expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing our commitment to valuing every team member's contribution. Duties Assist with the framing, decking, and railing installation using hand tools and power tools to ensure precise assembly. Support metal building erection and steel framing components as needed for deck structures. Prepare and pour concrete for footings, piers, or other foundational elements related to deck projects. Perform rebar installation and concrete finishing to reinforce structures and achieve smooth surfaces. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes safely to move materials around the site. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project specifications and ensure accurate execution. Use carpentry, masonry, roofing, siding, stucco, and trim carpentry skills for various aspects of deck construction and remodeling projects. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and inspecting tools and equipment regularly. Experience Prior construction site experience with exposure to framing, concrete work, or general carpentry is highly preferred. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and blueprint reading is essential. Knowledge of metal stud framing, metal building erection, masonry techniques including plastering and stucco work is advantageous. Experience with welding or restoration projects can be beneficial but not required. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights on scaffolding or ladders is necessary. Demonstrated understanding of schematics, construction management principles, and remodeling processes will set candidates apart.
